But We Shall See.

 I had a pedicure yesterday, and it was awesome.... I wonder why it is that every nails place I've ever been to seems to be run by Southeast Asians... I'm not trying to stereotype, but it just seems to be an enormous trend.  I also spent much of the day trying to get back into World of Warcraft... I'm not sure that's my best move, as I remember getting somewhat addicted to it in the past... but I think I have a level head on my shoulders about it and it won't end up dictating my life. They have "nerfed" the levels and squished them down to level 50... until the new expansion.... I sound like such a nerd... but so what... I find that I enjoy that... and if it makes me a nerd.. so be it. 

I have a lot of stuff happening at work... and not a whole lot of time to do it.. it's getting closer and closer to the holiday season... and I am taking the whole week of Thanksgiving off... the last 2 weeks of December... and most Fridays between now and then.. except this week... I was off Wednesday for Veterans Day so I figured one day this week was enough. I have several friends that want to get together for Thanksgiving... but I'm sorta torn about that... what with CoVID rearing its ugly head again... it's worse now than it has ever been. Seems like a lot of stuff is in a state of flux right now... and the political change is sorta adding to that. I am okay with any outcome we have... I mean... that's what the majority want.... I guess I'll just leave it at that... I really haven't formed a whole lot of opinions as of yet... other than being a bit fearful that we are going to end up settling back into the complacency of our society's mounting problems.... before, everyone was just mainly focused on Trump and how this or that was his fault... I don't think people will do that with Biden... mainly because most of the people complaining outside of the extreme far right were all liberal affiliated. I see bad times ahead for our country... I still can't get over the non-criminalization of all the "hard" drugs in Oregon... I guess they want to be the guinea pig for trying that out... I just hope it doesn't end up like the marijuana fiasco. I saw enough on my visits to California to tell there was a horrible shift in the way things are heading. 

....but we shall see.

Everyone has an agenda.

How do we know how what repercussions will arise tomorrow from our actions.  I am atop my tower... watching the world from up here.. I see so much lies and deceit from up here.. I honestly do trust a few people now.. to a varying degree.. I just don't know when they can be sucked into a situation.. or do things they wouldn't normally do... based on misinformation.. or their perception.. I see so many people get tricked.. into making poor decisions.. People are gullible. The world is full of traps and deception. I think sometimes people get the idea that life is a game.. that dating requires intimacy... I see people start into online relationships.. and they figure that the first thing on the agenda is to explore the sexual chemistry... online relationships.. if they're truely ever going to mean anything.. need to be treated like real life.. you don't just jump into bed with someone you are just getting to know..  the online world.. moves at a much slower pace.. as far a...

Better Off Without Me In It.

When I read over some of my past blog entries... I feel like I come across as psycho-depressive.  Sure...I'm not as optimistic as I once was... but life tends to do that to people over a period of time.. There really isn't much wrong with me other than having a very cynical viewpoint on life. I don't mean to make it seem like I've been done wrongly.. or that I am never going to function in life.  I know a lot of what I post is about how I am okay.. but I can't stress that enough.  I don't really need much more than I have now.. except maybe a change of scenery with where I am living.  Any one of you who has felt trapped in a room for years and years would probably come across being just as cynical. ...I am not saying I've had it worse off than anyone else..
