Tired of the holes..

I'm being me... it's all I know how to be.. not really sure what I want to post this morning... 4 am is too early to get up for me... and it's not positively affecting my brain. I am taking my time at dealing with the minor crap that comes up in my life... and there's only the major crap of having to deal with my location.. living situation.. and dad.. Yesterday, I did the whole blood test thing.. as I am on a medication for my psoriasis that they want to keep check on me... I tried to get it done the other day.. but didn't realize my donations of blood was going to be an ongoing process... so I had eaten... so.. anyway.. when I stopped in to feed the vampires... I sat and closed my eyes as the needle sucked the life out of me... gettting one tube.. then.. damn.. nothing else.. so.. she moved to the other arm.. jab.. nothing.. other than the small pinhead of blood that occurred once the needle is removed.. I seemed to have no blood...  she then tells me.. that she can only stick me twice... You mean I take off work early.. to drive 90 minutes.. only to be told I can't get it done??  that sucks pond scum through a straw... and have I mentioned that I have a severe dislike of needles.. almost a phobia. I told her about the inconvenience and she tried once more... then again.. moving from arm to arm.. moving to a different spot each time.. then finally to my hands.. where the nice vein there.. "rolled" on her.. I was almost to the point of dropping my pants and pulling out my penis... and saying.. I KNOW I have a vein there... but.. common sense prevailed... according to her.. I "made her nervous"  ...all I can say is.. if you're going to draw blood for a living.. get a clue as to what you're doing... I could understand if this wasn't her occupation.. but for Pete's sake.. this was all she does... I have a whole other rant on the quality of service going down in the world.. but I'll save that for another time... in the meantime... I'll just keep my turnip self away from the vampires.. I'm tired of all the holes..

It's 1:15 am.. I just got back from my niece's wedding.. and it was.. different .. not what I was used to.. but nice all the same..  I only have this to say about the reception... Something I Have Learned Well.

It's odd how we interact with others on so many levels... one would assume by my wide range of references that I have a large assortment of friends.. In all actuality, the people in my circle of friends could be counted on my hands.. and close friends... well..  easily on one hand. I'm not what I would consider a social butterfly... but to be honest.. I sometimes like crowds.. I enjoy having groups of people around me.. I don't stick out like a sore thumb.. and sometimes getting lost in the rest of the world... isn't such a bad thing. How often do you go and "people watch" ....and then think about those people once you're gone... not very often, I'm guessing.. not unless one did something completely out of the ordinary.  I just like having the feeling that I'm normal.. an ordinary person... I just sat here in this chair for most of the weekend.. not really accomplishing anything.. nothing constructive by any means... I feel as though maybe I'm...

I'm Looking Forward To A New Year.

Been through ice the last few days... lots of time to take off between now and the end of the year... but I will get it in. I tend to not worry about much of anything lately. There's no need.. life is perfect... or at least headed in a perfect direction. I am still irritated at my boss and don't feel that I can truly talk to her without wanting to slap some sense into her... and I'm not a violent person... I don't like the feelings she provokes in me. I haven't felt those feelings before. I would never contemplate seriously hurting anyone on purpose... but with her.. I just want answers... show me WHY you would do such a thing. Not a whole lot I can do about it now.. I will just ride it out until I can go elsewhere... it won't be much longer anyway. I got new glasses yesterday. They are the first plastic frames I've had in 30+ years... black and simple. I actually am growing to like them in a hurry. I spent my time driving to and from the city on the phone...
